This entire article just put a smile on my face :)

Love these! My favorite of all time though is in Mockingjay, when the chapter closes with Haymitch walking in drunk and saying, “And that my friends, is how a revolution fails.”

  • Vantage

I’m glad quotes from The Hunger Games trilogy made it. Those are really powerful. I think if there was a Kindle back then when the Potter books were published, might have as well been one of the most highlighted. :)

    • Marie

Yeah for a second I was surprised Potter wasn’t on the list but then I remembered Pottermore and all that – I’m glad Hunger Games is owning this list, then. :)

      • Vantage

Yeah, but the last Potter book was released on the 21st of July 2007 and the Amazon Kindle was released on the 19th of November, same year. Probably all the fans have read it and had all the books. Plus, it wasn’t available on Kindle.

This article made me so happy.

Number 10 made me start smiling at my laptop like a major creep. I freakin’ LOVE that quote! I swear I got goosebumps the first time I read it.

  • Peetaphile

The first one is really generic though, which I guess makes it resonate most with people.

Yay! Plus, if you go to the page for passages heavily highlighted recently, right now, 24 out of the topb25 quotes are from The Hunger Games books.

I love that the other 2 are from P & P.  I know I have those passages highlighted.
