Bobby Newport, played by Paul Rudd, has already begged Leslie not to campaign against him (“It’d be really cool if you guys just stopped,” he said in an earlier episode). Now Newport and Knope go head-to-head for the big televised debate.

After Knope graciously gave up the headlines last week, to save Ann’s job, the Parks budget and the animal shelter, she is out to take over the headlines with this week’s debate:

Leslie (Amy Poehler, who also wrote and directed) goes toe-to-toe with Bobby Newport (guest star Paul Rudd) in their big televised debate. Ann (Rashida Jones), Tom (Aziz Ansari), and Chris (Rob Lowe) work in the media spin room, while Ron (Nick Offerman) goes the extra mile to save a party for Leslie’s donors.

How do you think the debate will go? Can Newport pull his head out of the clouds to battle with the one and only Leslie Knope?

Check out these pictures, and give us a guess.

Sadly this story will never be “hot on Hypable”… This is the best show on television and it totally deserves more recognition.

I know this isn’t the place to vent but, I feel like Hypable has become ‘Glee news first, other news second’.  I think it’s partially due to the new layout that shows the most commented on articles first, which are often glee related.  That makes people talk about glee more and write more glee articles which perpetuates the cycle.  I get that it’s arguably the most popular show with the base of the site, but I think that Hypable should be a little more balanced and try to give each show (like Parks and Rec!!!!!!) their fair time in the spotlight.

Sorry for the rant, but it’s really been bothering me lately. But ahhh I’m so pumped for this episode! Paul Rudd has been great in this role and it’s gonna be hilarious to see him squirm.  I saw the promo video of Ann and Chris working their spin-doctor magic on crazy hypothetical scenarios and I can’t wait to see more of that.
