We’ve got a pretty ultimate round up of spoilers concerning the upcoming Nationals episode of Glee. Enter at your own risk!
Here are some major Nationals details brought to you by a spy on set reporting to toofab.com:
First, the New Directions setlist. According to toofab.com (and other photos we’ve seen) New Directions will perform:
- “The Edge of Glory” – Lady Gaga
- “It’s All Coming Back To Me Now” – Celine Dion
- “Paradise by the Dashboard Light” – Meatloaf
Apparently all of New Directions will be involved (including Rory and Sugar who have been noticeably and randomly absent from the show the last few episodes).
In a recent episode of Glee it was mentioned that Nationals’ theme was “vintage.” Not sure how the Gaga song fits in there, but the Celine Dion and Meatloaf song could definitely be considered vintage now.
Also, and probably most interestingly, toofab.com is reporting that Quinn will be back on her feet in this episode and even dancing.
Vocal Adrenaline has also been filming. According to toofab.com, their setlist consists of:
- “Starships” – Nicki Minaj
- “Pinball Wizards” – The Who
Alex Newell (Wade/Unique) will be returning to lead the group and will be doing so in drag once again.
Finally, toofab.com is reporting the following regarding judging:
The judges at nationals are Perez Hilton, Rex Lee and Lindsay Lohan. Perez and Rex were filmed during the awards ceremony, but Lindsay was noticeably absent. As of publishing time, they’re only halfway through their shooting day, so Lindsay may be shooting her scenes later.
The source also says that two endings were shot regarding who wins Nationals so we won’t find out for certain until the episode airs (or if you think really hard about the music used in the upcoming Glee: The Music, The Graduation Album).
UPDATE: Here’s a photo of Lea Michele in her Nationals costume that was apparently snapped today during filming of Nationals. Thanks to this tumblr.
That’s a LOT of spoilers for one episode! It’s important to take this all with a grain of salt as this is just a second-hand perspective of what happened during filming.
