During their PAX East panel yesterday, developer Gearbox announced there will be a fifth character class for Borderlands 2, as well as customization.
Game Informer found their way into the Sunday panel when it was announced new gear and costume pieces can be earned by completing missions and challenges.
The new character is called the Mechromancer and will be made available as post-launch DLC, though those who pre-order the game will recieve her free. The character seems to be a mix of human and machine that can control a large robot known as D374-TP. No details were revealed on exactly when the character will be released or how much it will cost you for not pre-ordering.
The special edition of the game was also given a price point of $149.99 that includes a Marcus bobble-head and a copy of the game in a container that looks like a loot box from the game.
Borderlands 2 is set to launch September 18.
