Justin Bieber supporting ‘Bully’ by lending song for movie ad

Justin Bieber is lending his support to Bully – a documentary about bullying in schools – by allowing one of his songs to be used in the movie’s latest TV ad.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bieber’s “Born To Be Somebody” will air in the ad.

“My fans are always for supporting a great cause. It’s one of the things I’m most proud of as an entertainer,” Bieber said in a statement. “I hope they see Bully with their friends and help start the conversation so we can end bullying.”

Bully has been in the news for receiving an R rating from the MPAA. The film has since been edited to earn a rating of PG-13.

I got (what I consider) verbally bullied as a senior in high school.
At that age, I was like REALLY? We are 18 and about to graduate…grow up. I considered myself much more mature than most of my graduating class so I easily put it behind me. But it still bothers me that it happened AT ALL.

Can’t wait for this movie, I hope it shows all sides of bullying, not just physical and internet bullying.
