Some big, breaking news has just hit the internet regarding the casting of Whoopi Goldberg in multiple episodes of Glee! [Major spoilers ahead!]

TVLine.com has reported the exclusive news that Whoopi Goldberg will be playing a NYADA judge!

Goldberg will play Carmen Tibideaux, a theatrical grande dame and a professor at New York Academy of the Dramatic Arts (NYADA), who travels to Ohio to preside over Kurt’s and Rachel’s auditions — and apparently she sticks around long enough to deliver a verdict: I’m told she’ll appear in roughly three episodes, the first of which is set to air on May 1. (Glee‘s season finale is set for May 22.)

Wow! Kurt and Rachael’s fate lies in the hands of Whoopi!

What are your thoughts about the Oscar winner being on Glee?

Now THIS is some celeb guest stunt casting that I can get behind! A role that needs to exist anyway and actually plays a part in current ongoing storylines that are relevant to the existing characters! Love me some Whoopi!! So excited!
