‘Twilight’ star Peter Facinelli and wife Jennie Garth to divorce

Actor Peter Facinelli, who plays Carlisle Cullen in the Twilight films, has announced he and his wife Jennie Garth will be divorcing.

A statement was issued by the couple.

They said to People.com:

While we have decided to end our marriage, we both share the same deep love and devotion to our children. We remain dedicated to raising our beautiful daughters together. We ask for privacy and respect during this time.

We’re sorry to hear the news! The couple has three young daughters.

This sucks.
But I honestly, about 99% of the time I don’t care about breakup’s or divorces.

Why am I here you might ask.
Because while I like him ( who is his wife?) I don’t really want this to become the norm here on Hypeable, news posts about breakup’s.

I’m not complaining, just voicing a concern.

  other than the fact that i’m really sad, since I follow his twitter on ocassion and he had nothing but beautiful things to say about his family.
  
  he and his wife, ask for privacy, so it doesn’t feel right that it’s on the news.
  (also I think you should definitely add a disclaimer for Twilight haters to NOT spam all over this with twilight hate- since that seems monstrous.

Carlisle is one of my favorite characters in the series, I had no idea the actor who plays him was married or that he has kids. Good thing to know I’m not a twihard, I might have to beat myself up if I were.
