It seems like we are getting good at predicting the future on our Secret Diaries podcast. We said, “What about the other elders? Who are they?” For starters, John De Lancie of Star Trek and Torchwood: Miracle Day fame is playing one on The Secret Circle!
According to TV Guide:
The 63-year-old actor will play Royce Armstrong, the powerful, yet recluse grandfather of Jake (Chris Zylka). Royce comes out of hiding to reveal disturbing conspiracy theories about the events of 16 years ago and how the present-day circle is involved.
On Torchwood, de Lancie played Brian Friedkin, a powerful CIA Section Chief. On Star Trek he played Q, a character that crossed over in to several of the show’s incarnations.
