Haven’t we heard this before? We knew Showtime was considering ending Weeds at the end of its seventh season, but then it was renewed several weeks after its finale.
Now, Showtime seems to be feeling that the eighth season will really be the end.
Network exec David Nevins told press at the Television Critics Association that “it’s a very real possibility” that this season 8 will be the end. They are currently in talks with show creator Jenji Kohan about what the future holds.
