Taylor Swift working on ‘Safe & Sound’ music video, father confirms

It was revealed today that Taylor Swift is shooting a music video for Safe & Sound, which is the first single off The Hunger Games soundtrack.

Her father provided a few details on his Facebook page!

Just back from Safe and Sound Video Shoot. I think it is by far the best I have ever seen. The scenery and shots are amazing as is Taylor walking barefoot across fields with rocks in cold weather. What a trooper. But it works! Stay tuned. I cannot wait for this one.

It’s nice to hear her father describe it as her best video yet. Certainly reassuring for fans!

I don’t see there being a whole lot of new footage, they could certainly use already seen footage in this video. But hopefully in this video we get a since of who the songs is about. There are several possibilities and we don’t quite know. So that would be interesting, otherwise… i can wait 2 months with no new footage, i really don’t want the film ruined. I hate that feeling (even though i know i’ll have it) when i see something on the screen and i know it by heart because i’ve seen it too many times in trailers and stuff. But what will be done will be done.
