In a new feature interview, Emilia Clarke, Kit Harington, Charles Dance and Maisie Williams discuss shooting season 1 and talk a bit about what’s to come for their characters in the second season. Beware of very mild spoilers.
Canada.com has a great new feature interview with the Game of Thrones cast members, well worth reading in its entirety. It interview some of the cast members on the season 2 set; among them Emilia Clarke, who talks about Daenerys, and shooting apart from everyone else:
Sometimes [I] feel like the kid left out – the weirdo with the silver hair that no one likes to talk to. There is definitely an element of that. But then, at the same time, that fuels the character, because she is so desperate to get home to where everyone else is.
On season 2, she says:
You feel the weight [of responsibility] on her shoulders a lot more in this season. [And] I have faith in Dany – she’s not going anywhere.
Kit Harington discusses Jon Snow’s journey beyond the Wall, and the threat of the White Walkers:
The threat of them is there. And I think that’s [one] of the exciting thing[s] about the part of the story I’m involved in … that there is this kind of threat from these things that is much darker and worse than any war or anything else in the story. These things are really quite horrific.

David Benioff, executive producer, chimes in about Jon’s journey as well, saying:
Jon’s pretty much out on his own, and coming face to face with real unknowns and a bit of romance.
