Facebook releases Memeology 2011; ‘Harry Potter’ and ‘Twilight’ take top film spots

On the heels of Twitter sharing the most tweeted topics of 2011, fellow social networking website Facebook has compiled several interesting lists noting the most popular topics on their site.

Harry Potter nabbed most popular film of the year, followed by Twilight in second place! Meanwhile, House was the most popular television show and character.

A complete list of categories and winners can be seen here. Below is a quick rundown of what was most hot:

- Top Actor/Personality: Megan Fox
- Top Movie: Harry Potter
- Top TV Show: House
- Top Fictional Character: Dr. House
- Top Musician: Rihanna
- Top Listened to Song: We Found Love by Rihanna and Calvin Harris

Out of all those facebook pages listed, Harry Potter has the largest number of likes which is pretty cool. It goes to show how supportive the Harry Potter fans still are. Then again, most of us Harry Potter fans know that already! :)
