Dan Radcliffe named Entertainer of the Year by EW, celebrates with confetti, cane

Today Entertainment Weekly awarded Dan Radcliffe a great honor: Entertainer of the Year!

To mark the occasion they’re featuring him on their cover.

They write:

Having captivated moviegoers around the world with the last installment of the Harry Potter series, Daniel Radcliffe earned the number one spot on our list of the most talented and original performers who entertained us this year. Rounding out the honor roll? Seventeen more people and groups, from Adele to Hugh Jackman to the cast of Bridesmaids.

At the risk of sounding biased (being a Harry Potter fan and all!), I can safely say that he completely deserved the accolade. When Hollywood itself recognizes that he ENTERTAINED and he’s got an extremely bright future ahead of him, well, he’s got to have done SOMETHING right! And by God, he has!! Although I couldn’t see him strut his stuff on Broadway, I can’t wait for the release of ‘The Woman in Black’. Congratulations Dan, and all the very best with your future!

He totally deserves it, Dh pt. 2 was brilliant. Also how to suceed was amazing too! I enjoyed it more than The book of Mormon and that was amazing too! He really had an amazing year. I’m very happy with this decision!

i love that they put a little touch of gryffindor and Harry Potter with the bow tie, but didnt dress him head to toe with wizarding apparel. Yes Dan is the one and only Harry but he has also done soo much more and its great that he’s being recognized for all of his talented characters. Congrats Dan! You very much deserve it! z: )
