On Saturday there was an event at Books of Wonder in NYC featuring 19 Young Adult authors.  All of whom shared the experience of wearing the Pajants.

Many of you have probably read the book, seen the movie or at the very least heard of The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants by Ann Brashares.  At some point over the last year a few YA authors were joking about this new item called the Pajant (pajama/jegging/pants). After some tweeting, the sisterhood of the traveling pajants was born! Check out Lauren Myracle and Julie Devillers in the video below explaining exactly what this sister/brotherhood (yes, males did where the pajants) is all about.

In this second video authors talk about their experience with the pajants and Lauren reviews the rules of the having the pajants!

You can read more about the pajants and their many adventures on their Facebook page! Also be on the look out because the autographed pajants will be auctioned off for charity in the near future.

This event was also a book signing so we have some lovely signed books to giveaway! To enter to win the signed books simply like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter.

  • ‘Like’ us on Facebook or ‘Follow’ us on Twitter using the buttons below.

You also need to leave a comment answering this question: Which author would like to see wearing the Pajants?

One winner will receive the following books signed:

The Name of the Star by Maureen Johnson
    Sleepaway Girls by Jen Calonita
Ten Things We Did (And Probably Shouldn’t Have) by Sarah Mylinowski
You are Here by Jennifer E. Smith
Prom and Predjudice by Elizabeth Eulberg

Check out ALL the authors in the Pajants Party Slide Show!

Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants would have actually made a good movie series, or at least a good TV show.

Still waiting for the 1st movie to come out on blu-ray.
