‘Breaking Dawn – Part 1′ to go on sale February 11th, Valentine’s Day packaging in the works

Thanks to an entertainment distributor, today we’re learning more details about The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1′s DVD/Blu-ray release.

It will be hitting store shelves earlier than thought, and special Valentine’s Day-packaging is in the works.

Saturday, February 11th, 2012 is the release date for the United States. Word is that the official announcement will be coming January 3rd.

Although details and final artwork aren’t available at this time, Summit is also working on a version with Valentine’s Day packaging (since the release is just three days before the Holiday). This way fans can receive the set from their loved ones. Early artwork (NOT final) can be seen below:

A couple weeks ago we received our first look at the DVD/Blu-ray artwork and features!

11th of Feb?? A bit early, don’t you think? I mean, if a film is released in November, the DVD usually comes out in April or something…especially in the case of a big film…

  well when movies are making alot of good money they usually bring them out earlier except sometimes when movies don’t do so good they bring them out alot quicker

i hope that this is true by we will not know untill January 3rd 2012. and new moon came out sometime in march i believe but i do hope that the news is so true if it is that is like 2 dayz after my birthday and that would be my birthday present to me yayayayay

the reason why we have to wait for movies to come out on dvd is cause they spend 3 months on the big screen then they wait a month to get the speical features together to bring it out on dvd/blu ray

Seriousy, who cares about it coming out too early, making movie theaters upset, or the fact its being released on a “Saturday” which is uncommon with the usual “Tuesday” release days! It’s coming out!!!! Why do some people feel the need to complain about something that is good for the fans? Be happy that all the books made it to the screen! Im way excited about the release date, just need to wait for conformation in January.
