Foxface’s real name to be revealed in ‘The Hunger Games’

It’s one of what we hope will be many treats for fans when they see The Hunger Games in theaters this March: a new tidbit that was never told in the book!

While hosting a live online chat yesterday, Jackie Emerson (who plays Foxface) revealed that the character’s real name will be revealed.

We imagine this is thanks in part to Suzanne Collins who had written one of the original screenplays for the film and was very involved for the entire filmmaking process.

Whenever my town tries to make a movie 3D, I drive to the next town that doesn’t have 3D. I want to see a movie, not some overhyped live pop-up book.

Oh god! If it’s in 3D, I will be so angry! When I watched the last Harry Potter in 3D, it was terrible! The only parts that stuck out from the screen was the dragon bit and when Voldemort died. The 3D made it hard to concentrate on the movie and made it darker.

Exciting! I always thought her name was Ampere, since District 5 is power and people tend to be named in their districts, or according to a theme. I hope it’s something good.

Foxface’s real name never revealed in the Hunger Games books series. But many people have their hypotheses that her real name was “Melanie”. But, in the movie “The Hunger Games”, during an interview with Caesar Flickerman, Caesar called Foxface, “Finch”. So, Finch might be Foxface’s real name.

I read that too, aparently Jackie gave her the name though, and not Suzanne.. So I don’t know what to think of it..
