Captain America 2 screenwriter Christopher Markus recently discussed who he would like to see as the villain in the sequel, and it’s not someone fans would expect.

It has been announced that Captain America 2 will take place in modern day and include World War II flashbacks.  Also, the screenwriters have said that they would like to include other characters from the comics such as The Falcon, and Sharon Carter.  What has yet to be announced is who Cap will be facing off against in the 2014 sequel.

In a recent interview, Christopher Markus, one of the screenwriters working on Captain America 2, voiced his pick for the villain, and who he would like to play him:

love MODOK and I think you could make a terrifying movie with MODOK but nobody seems to be on my side at the moment.

It’s not a surprise that no one is on his side, seeing as MODOK is a fairly unrealistic character to be bringing to the big screen in a live action film.

Could you see this guy being scary in a live action film? Christopher Markus seems to think so:

I will win you over to Peter Dinklage as MODOK. If he came around the corner and you saw him floating there you would be terrified. It would be amazing.

Peter Dinklage is an actor from another fandom that we cover here on Hypable, Game of Thrones, and while he’s a great actor, we’re still not convinced this villain would be right for Captain America 2.

Would you like to see Dinklage play MODOK?  Do you want to see MODOK in Captain America 2 at all? Let us know!

zI have not seen the first movie (I’m planning to watch it when it comes out on DVD) so I can’t give much of an opinon but that picture was not scary at all. It was like a giant wrinkly Wizard of Oz. The purple arms and yellow suit didn’t help either.
